10 years ago, this is the day of when i was sent to SAKTI. there i met lots of people. friends or foe, everyone is there. though sometime i wish i had done things differently, but somehow i am glad that we can't never change the past. coz there are still lots of things that wouldn't happen if we change it. that 5 years there, which is not that long, contains lots of things that shaped the way i live now. so peeps, happy birthday to my friends Army^of^Sly 0206

1st final exam for the year

After pushing the hell out of Final Year Design Project 1 ( yeah ONE!, got another one next semester), next here come the real deal. final examination. 4 papers only; distributed evenly throughout 7-13 January 2012. the first final exam in the year will be Engineers in Society, followed by Reactor Design for Petrochemical (9/1), Polymer Engineering and Processing (11/1) and Malaysian Studies (13/1). see, not so heavy this year. lets just hope for the best.

we got lucky this semester, not sure how fydp 2 evaluators gonna be like

Its hard nowadays with no internet and all. Plus at office it seems to me dat i dont have any work at all. N sleeping in the afternoon is a must! Well, no more lunch hour righ. Southern region 2011 - "SMK" Sains Kota Tinggi (stupid annoying emcee)

See! im not bias u know. if they played horribly, i'll condemned them till they pissed and shit on their own body. and this time around, i don't think they can march any worst then this. so, actually its a good sign for next year! haha. but if got anyone can watch the video till the end, i salute them. even a band freak like me stopped watching at most 4.00minutes. with the corporate shirt, black pants tucked inside the boots, 5 years old blue "bulu-bulu" atas pale (mane korang jumpe balik bende nih daa), bass drum head not facing in front?, color guards looks like they were forced to join (actually the whole band is forced), and the lists goes on and on.. please, watch the top 4 vids upside, and learn from them. not saying that in our 2006 era is good, but come on. its 2011 already and the progress is not even going positive.

lesson learnt: 2 days preparation is totally not enough to do an epic drill.

Pada tahun 1840an, sebelum Yap Ah Loy datang berdagang ke Kuala Lumpur, dia telah memerintahkan adik angkatnya yang bernama Lim Ah Tat pergi ke Timur Tanah Melayu bersama seorang rakan untuk survey terlebih dahulu. Mengikut perancangan awalnya, Lim Ah Tat disuruh membuka kedai membaiki motor di Brunei, tetapi tongkang yang dinaikinya pecah dan tersadai di Kudat. Di Kudat, Lim Ah Tat tidak putus asa. Dia meneruskan perjalanannya untuk ke Brunei jugak melalui jalan darat.

Setelah lapan bulan berjalan, maka sampailah Lim Ah Tat dan rakannya ke sebuah tempat yang lapang di kaki gunung. Semasa Lim Ah Tat baru hendak melelapkan matanya, tiba-tiba rakannya menjerit,"Wei...Blunai.. wa nampak Blunai!"

Lim Ah Tat tersentak dan terus berlari ke arah rakannya."Mana? Mana?" Lim Ah Tat bertanya.
"Ni..." jawab rakannya sambil menunjuk lubang hidungnya sendiri.

Benganglah Lim Ah Tat. Dia pun mengutip anak batu dan baling ke arah rakannya itu tetapi tidak kena. "Aiya! Talak kinna!" Lim Ah Tat merungut.

Lapan hari lamanya Lim Ah Tat cuba membaling rakannya itu tetapi tidak kena sehinggalah pada satu petang rakannya itu memanjat gunung sehingga ke puncak. Lim Ah Tat mengikur dari belakang. Satu masa yang tepat, Lim Ah Tat membidik dan terus membaling sehingga kena ke kepala rakannya itu.
"Balu kinna! Balu kinna..." jerit Lim Ah Tat penuh gembira.

Sempena tarikh bersejarah itu, Lim Ah Tat pun menulis perkataan 'balu kina balu kina balu kina' di atas beberapa batu besar di puncak gunung itu dengan tujuan untuk menyakitkan hati kawannya, yang akhirnya dijumpai oleh arkeologis beberapa tahun kemudiannya. Mereka menyangka itu adalah tulisan orang purba yang bermastautin di pucak gunung. Lantas menamakan gunung tersebut sempena satu baris tulisan yang cuma boleh dibaca iaitu 'kina balu' kerana yang lain-lainnya telah hilang akibat hakisan.

Pada zaman kesultanan Melaka, tinggallah Mak Kuntum bersama anaknya Seri.

Suami Mak Kuntum telah lama terkorban dalam pertempuran menentang musuh di Selat Melaka.

Adapun Mak Kuntum ini kerjanya mengambil upah mengurut. Setiap awal pagi, Mak Kuntum telah keluar dari rumahnya untuk mencari pelanggan. Tinggallah Seri seorang diri dirumah untuk menjalankan kerja rumah seperti memasak, membasuh, mengemas rumah dan sebagainya.

Begitulah kehidupan dua beranak ini setiap hari walaupun pada cuti umum.

Hendak dijadikan sejarah, pada suatu hari.. timbul rasa jemu dalam sanubari Seri kerana memasak nasi dengan cara yang sama. Begitu juga dengan lauk. Kalu tak ikan goreng, ikan gulai. Kalau tak ikan gulai, ikan bakar. Seri sudah muak dengan masakan tersebut.

Sebagai langkah alternatif, Seri mula memikirkan cara lain memasak nasi supaya terdapat kelainan pada rasa nasi.

Mula-mula Seri memasukkan sedikit lengkuas kedalam nasi yang sedang dimasak. Oleh kerana masih tak berpuas hati, Seri mencampurkan sehelai daun pandan untuk menyerikan lagi nasi tersebut.

"Biar kewangian bau nasi yang dicampur dengan daun pandan dapat membangkitkan selera mak aku bila dia balik nanti. Tentu mak akan puji aku nanti. " bisiknya didalam hati.

Pada waktu tengahari, Mak Kuntum pun pulanglah kerumah.

Seri pun menghidangkan nasi ciptaannya itu. Terperanjatlah mak Kuntum melihatkan nasi yang tidak pernah dilihat sepanjang hayatnya.

"Apa kau masak ni, Seri?"

"Nasi lerr Mak!" jawab Seri, berulangkali Mak Kuntum bertanyakan kepada Seri. Setiap kali juga Seri menjawap, "Nasi lerr Mak!".

Semenjak hari itu, lekatlah nasi tersebut dikenali dengan

NASI LEMAK.

Moral of the story: If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.

Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very high up.
 
 
Lesson 5: Power of Charisma

Soon he was spotted by a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.
 
Moral of the story: Bullshit might get you to the top, but it wont keep you there.
 
 
Lesson 6 (the best moral story ever)
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field. While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him. As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy. A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.
 
Moral of the story:
1. Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy
2. Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend
3. And when you’re in deep shit, it’s best to keep your mouth shut!

im an addict. and currently im addicted to How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, One Tree Hill, Glee, Gossip Girl, House, Grey's Anatomy, Chuck, Supernatural, Juvana?, Desperate Housewives, Two and a half man and many more (xmasuk cite jepun + korea lagi nih). i once addicted to CSI, but kinda lost somewhere in da middle. same goes to Heroes where the storyline become more and more confusing thus making me lost interest in it. Survivor and The Amazing Race is good too, but they looked like they're acting too much. dah macam tengok AFsucks da..

Gossip Girl vs. One Tree Hill

Both story is interesting in their own way. in gossip girl, where you can watch the Upper East Side if NY where the classy American lives their daily life. this story is full of drama, and there is always like no good-happy-ever-after ending. mesti ade something yg berlaku lah senang cite. and one more thing, they coupled like cats. always bertukar pasangan sesama sendiri. seriously, they have gone too far from what any religion had teach people.

mean while in OTH, the story is very good, nice and usually end up with happy ending. many accident happen to them, and they somehow lives through all of the things and continuously move on. lots of songs here that i liked. and one common similarities here is both of the story started when the main characters are in high school, and now after several season, they have graduated and gone to real live. yeah, most of the best seasons were at the beginning, after 5 or 6 season, the stories already became ntah-hape-hape with some of the actors drop out, changed into someone new that can't deliver the same 'ummph' like before.

so, here we are again in Mei at the end of all the good stories that i liked. they usually will resume airing in september. so, i got no series to watch for like 2 months! tu je nak bagitau snanye, haha.. xde idea lah syal nak tulih mende..

after several days of 'offline', im quite surprised with the comments that i got for my post about the sbp wind orchestra competition. hhaa, it has been a long time since anyone leave comments before. arghh really not in da mood for attacking other people now, but i think im gonna give my answer. you are lucky that im being polite right now.

dear mr anonymous, (who changed his name to HafiZ, which is still anon actually) and Aliff n Zariff (really thought these came from the same group of people at first, but never mind..) i said that my school did not deserve to lose to other school, that doesn't meant i looked down hard on them. yeah i looked down at st george because they really don't deserve it. you are the one that said "we should not accept complains or comments from the lamest blogger('profesional judge'). where's ur pride big man? :8p", so, why the heck in the world did you 'butthurted' by my comments?

yeah if you read any of my posts before, i told people several times that my english is broken. i know it already, and i dont care. as long as any C graded english students can read and understand my english, everything is fine. even Ki-moon's english is bad you know. but, people do understand. and you said that you dont waste your time blogging, but hey, u are wasting your time reading my dumb blog! so who are the one that dumb now u dumbasshole..

and mr aliff, u 'think' dat all bands did great, and no one have the right to criticize?? hahaa. if those bands in 2nd Div did great, then what kind of great did the bands in Div 1 does? the greatness of dewa dewi?? so how about TKWO? they are better than dewa lah kan kalau macam tu.. does enjoying yourself on stage and give all out is one of the criteria to win any competition, why bother practice? go masturbate on that stage, u enjoy, gave all out, and win.. voila!

argh, that about me section is the best. i have never updated that thing before this. and i dont need to update things about myself, just for any anonymous users to stalk, and use it back against me. admit it, even if i type something else in that column, u will use it back to say something bad. yeah, u are a good troller.

and if u are happy with that, then you wont be able to improve until the ends of time. u must be kind of people who support amir maharajalawak no matter how bad his jokes are. im confused how can people become like that..

What the fuck is that?? they played like they are on the field marching their asses out there. that is not an orchestra team man. are they really won with their talent, or are they actually replacing one of the other cluster school in the first div, just to make sure that this competition can still be named "pertandingan wind orkestra sbp & kluster". and yeah, nobody will look at the school in 2nd div, they are like a side competition only, who cares? (memang suck pon kalau compare ngan 1st div)

and the finalist; good luck for non-premier school. Smss, Smach, & Seratas. they played really well, a whole lot better than TKC or MCKK. and smsah, u guys are the one that should be in the finale. as a conclusion, i missed playing in orchestra very much! huuuuhu..

i just spent my last two days lying on the floor watching greys anatomy. the plan was different before that though. maybe catch a movie or two, hanging out, or even clean up that messy house of crap that im livin in. but when everything falls out of hand, lying on the floor for two whole day is not bad at all. and all i know now is dat i DONT wanna go to work today, i just want to continue lying on that floor watching some other series (yeah i finished my greys anatomy collection till s6. need to download some more)

so this is the plan for this april. and yeah i know, most of it will also goes down to lying freely on that floor again.. but hey, it why cant you let me dreams a bit.

i have never really liked my childhood. the primary school life to be exact. as the last child (at that time laa), im a good student (which can be translated to nerd i guess). head boy, president of every clubs that want me, lots of competition (which i didnt won any, best place is only second place in english storytelling competition), running around the hall (kene masuk dari pintu depan, baru stylo.. masuk dari back stage orang tak nampak) when its time to take the award (terbaik sains, matematik, 1st in class dll whatsoever). but NO sports. either i was just not built for it, or i didn't try that hard. and i think that is to blame for me nowadays who dont go to any sports (felt like being left away every friday night kot).

cant found the school pics, really, nobody got any camera at my kampung.. haha

and that growing up in kampung continued at secondary school. never (really never) going down during the 'riadah' time at hostel, like to escape PE time with whatever reasons that can be made, n i kinda regret that high school moments. i should have gone played some futsal or basketball, or badminton, or anything else.. friends also make a big difference between playing and not playing. always hanging out with us band geeks loosers means its either no sport, or sit around practicing for competition (which we doesn't won any also!). if only we can turn back the time right..

and now, joining my friends play means im just showing off that i dont know how to play, and giving the team that i played in the chance to lose (well they play with one player short didnt they?). haha. i think im mumbling now, what is this crap? damn..

yeah, now im 22. and theres nothing that can be change in disastrous, wracked, me & myself. im averagely smart, account balance is around rm100 (or maybe lower) every ends of month, i dont play hard-to-play games (dota is fine), usually didn't get whats i want best (2nd best is OK actually), like branded items (like is actually different than owning.. T T) and most importantly, i dont play sports (in terms of i-dont-know-how-to, thanks to younger version of me). and you know what, im OK lah sangat.

stupid shmupid rite. this is the story of how i end up here (in PJ) during 4 days of CNY celebration, without going back to BP (tsk3)...

i was told to do validation for new label installed here. (cant tell much about it), but easy to say that i was told to work. the scheduled at firs was in wednesday (morning till evening), friday evening, saturday & sunday. so basically (owh i hate this word, "basically") i cant go back to kampung lah kan. johor n kl is not that near.. but then the shmupid production with the well known issues happens as usual.. at firs the schedule changed, and the wednesday morning was delayed until night. which started at 8.30pm. and me ends up went back at 7am in the monink. then the friday work was moved to saturday morning, saturday goes to sunday, sunday goes to monday of course. so i got thursday n friday to sleep... then saturday morning, first they tell me its at 11am, then goes to 3pm, then goes to 8pm, then goes to 11.30pm, THEN the things started just now... 4.00am~ so plus minus rest time n change of shift, i can actually go back at 12.30 noon. but wait, the sunday work hasnt delayed yet! so i think i can continue until 8pm tomorrow.. own, n i dont give a damn about the at-first-sunday-work cause at monday my colleague shud be back from holidays n they can cover me up..

so? count back, i actually can balek kampung from thursday morning till saturday afternoon! with ample time to rest after reaching PJ.. haihhhhhhh.. n i miss all the saturday fun as i keep rejecting the offer to go out!!
(sory ah chom, kalau tau awal2 dah lame aku kuar ngan ko)

but.. the rewards of the delay delay n delay thing is that..

for me working (or in this case internship) is like joining an event in UTP. whether it is Eupho, OC, Minggu Aluan Siswa, Orchestra, or 'duties'. at first it is all awe and wonder and amazing. you'll give up everything, you'll sacrifice many things, just for the sake of your work. but then u'll come to one point where u lost most of your passion. what at first u said is fun had becomes dull and boring. u like doing nothing rather than doing something. and when that time come, you'll still do all your work, as perfect, as good, as efficeint as possible of course, but without any heart to do it. and one thing that can be done to cure this kind of sickness is to find some inspiration, just to 'inspire' you to work better!

now, i nid to start finding something. or else the upcoming months will not be so great.

solution: carik plastik, buat laa baju hujan! hhaaha

effectiveness: 70% upper body is dry, but not the lower part..

future recommendation: pakai lagi satu belah bawah, buat cam kain pelikat. xpon guna la stepler, selotape, gunting, gam, marker pen dll, jahit smpai jadi baju hujan btol2.. =p

hey2, less than an hour before the new 2011 arrived. no Y2K virus, no tsunami, still got nothing special around, and yes, lots of changes happened in the past.

what i hv done this year?

1. hell trip to kl with fellow saktians, ain polok shukor misa chom chempek n me. yeah it was hell of a night for us, and u know what, lets do it again! haha.. and all nice pics taken was historied by the stolen camera. huuu..

2. 2 final exam results was released this year, with one of it becoming my worst result, and the other one as my best result ever.. and im quite sure that this 2011 will repeat that history.

3. first intervarsity competition i joined and won. big luck there. with some fight happen after the competition to decide who goes to the international competition, which ends with everyone can go and have fun. hehe

4. i lost my laptop! and the worst part is that im only there at the next room when that tragedy happened. well, its a price to pay for forgetting to lock your own room.

5. got my first flight experience. first oversea country to be visited (this not includes Singapore kay).. and Taiwan, is a nice country if you dont care what to eat. their currency rate is quite the same with Malaysia and there are lots of places can be visited if you r on vacation.

7. hey2, i started my internship this year. with some struggling during the application period, which ends me up here in jnj. as long as im not alone here, and i know that lots of my friend is nearby, i think that enough to make me happy.

8. my dear CHEmO! we are proud to have organised a nice dinner for the 3rd time dis 2010. yeah, there are not much time left to be together, time flies by and we nid to move on. but the friendship remains until u eventually forget everyone, including who you really are.

9. oppss, i left out number 6, so there are actually 8 points only. haha..

it has been 3 weeks into my internship life, but still my biological clock havent finish adjusting itself. most of the time i slept a little bit too early, (10.30pm!) and woke at around 7.00am. dats should be more than enuf rite? but here i am, in the office (siap bole update blog wa cakap luu) feeling sleepy~~.. haih..

hey hey, wanna know what is my work?? i check shipper (or better known as kotak) with the design that was sent to the supplier, i check labels too, i refill water to be used in humidity chamber machine, i cut bottles (by hand with the help from a cutter and/or scissors) for testing, i paste the label on the new bottles for adhesion test, i put a strip of tape on a label, then peel it out again to check for any ink transfer, i throw away lotions, shampoo, body wash, etc just before i throw away the bottles after all the tests have been done, and a lot more of these kind of stuff. and you know what? i just got an assignment to be finished this week, which is to clear up a locker full of file and rearrange it back with proper labelling and filing. mencabar tuh..

yeah2 its only 2nd week and the things will get tougher after this. and after the other trainee finished their internship in January, ill take up their position. but you know, i kinda envy those who get to work in chemical plants or any other oil & gas company. they get to familiarise with plant environment and all. not that i regret the decision reject the offer from kerteh, (glad that i reject it though), but well, human don't ever satisfied with what they got right.. doing jobs that is not related, or partially related to chemical engineering is kinda suck. the only good thing here is that i learn the way of working, as engineer and as common people too. the decision making, the communication etc blablabla...

well there's no update yet from me. its been a busy internship, although i hv only work for 2 days. i can see clearly how my next 8 months gonna be..

*they dont gave out big allowances for nothing man. lucky for those PETRONAS' trainee.. hwahhh
